These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of Buildory (buildory.online, the "Service"), an individual founder based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Buildory is a free collaboration network for students who build projects. It provides profiles, project listings, join requests, connections, a builder feed, and related features. The Service is under active development: features may change, pause, or be removed at any time. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
You must be at least 16 years old (or older where your local law requires), and if you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian's permission. You may hold one account per person and must provide accurate registration information. Buildory does not restrict access based on college or institution.
You retain ownership of everything you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service for the purpose of operating it. You agree not to post unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or misleading content; not to impersonate others; not to spam, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the Service; and not to use the Service for recruitment, job boards, advertising, or crypto promotion. Verification badges and institution labels must not be misrepresented.
Projects, teammates, code, and advice you encounter are provided by other users, not by us. We do not vet users, guarantee project outcomes, or take responsibility for disputes between collaborators, lost work, or reliance on anything posted. Exercise your own judgement before sharing sensitive material or meeting people offline.
Reports from users enter a human review queue — there are no automatic punishments. We may warn, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts and content that breach these Terms or the law. You may appeal any action by emailing support@buildory.online.
The Buildory name, branding, and site design belong to the operator. Nothing here transfers any ownership to you. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, contact support@buildory.online with details and we will act promptly.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms, prolonged inactivity of abusive accounts, or legal requirement. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; provisions on liability and disputes survive.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us — which, since the Service is free, is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally by email; failing that, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new date and, where appropriate, announced by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
